ISLAMABAD: The US President Barack Obama has invited the Prime Minister of Pakistan Nawaz Sharif to visit America. According to senior diplomatic sources of Pakistan, the date of the visit has not been finalized yet however, the visit is expected in the last days of October this year.
According to sources, the visit will be separated from attending the session of UN’s General Assembly in New York, held in September. Nawaz Sharif along with aforementioned session of UNO will attend the peace Summit as a co-chairman with Obama.
It is pertinent to mention here that White House has not yet announced officially about this visit. The abovementioned visit will be the second US visit of Nawaz Sharif since he became Prime Minister. He earlier visited America in October 2013 officially.
The visit in 2013 reduced thaw and tension between both the countries which was going long. According to diplomatic officials, the aim of inviting Nawaz on visit is to strengthen ties further between both the countries.
