Recent Oppression in Occupied Kashmir becomes a hot topic for Pakistani & Indian cricketers. After Shahid Afridi & Gambhir now Kohli responds about the crisis.
When Indian media questioned Virat Kohli to respond to Shahid Afridi’s comment on Indian atrocities in Occupied Kashmir he said ‘I don’t engage in it unless I have total knowledge of the issue’.
But having said that, it’s a very personal choice for someone to comment about certain issues. Unless I have total knowledge of the issues & the intricacies of it I don’t engage in it but definitely your priority stays with your nation: Virat Kohli on #ShahidAfridi (2/2) pic.twitter.com/JFDwrbOMk5

Appalling and worrisome situation ongoing in the Indian Occupied Kashmir.Innocents being shot down by oppressive regime to clamp voice of self determination & independence. Wonder where is the @UN & other int bodies & why aren’t they making efforts to stop this bloodshed?
— Shahid Afridi (@SAfridiOfficial) April 3, 2018
Previously Shahid Afridi tweeted about Indian oppression on innocent civilians. ‘Innocent being shot by oppressive regime to clamp voice of self determination & independence, wonder where is UN?’
Media called me for reaction on @SAfridiOfficial tweet on OUR Kashmir & @UN. What’s there to say? Afridi is only looking for @UN which in his retarded dictionary means “UNDER NINTEEN” his age bracket. Media can relax, @SAfridiOfficial is celebrating a dismissal off a no- ball!!!

When Indian media asked Gautam Ghambhir to respond to Shahid Afridi’s comment he mocked Pakistani cricketer Shahid Afridi on the issue through his tweet.
Shahid Afridi “I’m not worried about the response to my tweet from some. I believe I spoke the truth and I have the right to speak the truth”

Shahid Afridi “if I had not been a cricketer, I would have joined the army”

Shahid Afridi “I am a soldier of my country. My country is my honour and Pakistan is everything for me”
— Saj Sadiq (@Saj_PakPassion) April 4, 2018
Shahid Afridi was asked to react on Gautam Ghambhir statement on which he said ‘I believe I spoke the truth and I have the right to speak truth’.
Shahid Afridi “Even if they call me, I won’t go to the IPL. My PSL is the biggest and there will be a time that it leaves the IPL behind. I am enjoying the PSL, I don’t have any need for the IPL. I’m not interested in it and never was” #Cricket

When questioned about IPL he responded ‘ I am enjoying the PSL, I don’t have any need for the IPL’
This resulted on a twitter war between fans of both stars and twitter users of both countries. The twist came when DG ISPR Asif Ghafoor responded to Gautam Ghambhir and trolled him on his remarks.
