If you are experiencing pain and want to reduce it without any pain killer, then don’t worry there is a way out for you.
Mediation can be used to reduce pain, claims a team of researcher from Leeds Beckett University. They performed experiments on a small group of 24 students, after which they came to the conclusion that by relaxing your mind you can reduce the pain.
This is what people in previous centuries performed, and even students during medical treatments and during blood tests are asked mathematical questions to divert their minds, the research same to the same conclusion.
Buddhists also believe in the same thing and Buddha also taught his followers the same, they believed that if you control your mind and have peace in mind your body and soul will also find peace.
The lead researcher, Osama Tashani said “who was involved in the study, said: ‘While further research is needed to explore this in a more clinical setting on chronic pain patients, these results do show that a brief mindfulness meditation intervention can be of benefit in pain relief.”
