Increasing Prices before Ramazan has been a common practice by Pakistani merchants but this time a multi billionaire and international brand ‘Nestle’ also followed the trend. Nestle Pakistan increased prices for its multiple products before Ramzan.
The packaged milk which has been affected by the increase includes:
Nestle 1 Litre Pack = Rs. 125 (Increase of Rs. 5)
Nestle 250 ml = Rs. 32 (Increase of Rs. 2)
Everyday Tea Whitener 1 KG also saw an increase of Rs. 20
Everyday Tea Whitener 400 gram price was also increased by Rs. 10
Head of Corporate Affairs of Nestle Pakistan, Waqar Ahmed said that only few sizes of Everyday and Milkpak are affected by the price increase. He also clarified that Nestle increased the prices after a long time.
