This is not the first time that Allama Zameer is being criticized on such videos, previously on many occasions his claims attracted criticism.
Once he narrated the story of Napoleon Bonaparte claiming that he wrote a letter & poem seeking help from Imam Hussain when British attacked France. But no historic reference is available for such claims, the only claim he gave was a rough translation of the poem.
Once he also claimed that Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah arranged 8th Muharram majlis in his home in Bombay and after independence in Karachi.
He further added details about the first flag of Pakistan which he claimed was different from the current flag with 5 stars.
Others believe that making funny videos and memes on such controversial topic is not the right way to address the topic, especially during 9th & 10th Muharram.
