Karachi: National Bank of Pakistan (NBP) Tennis Championship organized by Subh-e-Nau is going to kick start from 15th October in Islamabad. There will be matches played under different categories including Men’s and Women’s singles, Men’s doubles, boys under 18 and under 14.
While talking to media, Subah-e-Nau Chairperson Shahida Kausar Farooqi told that due to the shortage of sponsorship, the championship got postponed before while we were also requested by PTF President Syed Kaleem Imam to delay the championship.
She said that the winning prize of the championship will be Rs. 2 lac while the players coming from other cities will also be paid with daily allowance. Dr. Farrukh Chishti will be the tournament director while Shehzad Akhtar Alvi will be the referee.
