Neo TV is a new TV channel that has just stepped in the business. It is still young in the field but is grabbing on fast. Neo TV channel will be bringing its first ever Ramazan Transmission, which will be hosted by Pakistan’s famous pop singer and peace activist Najam Shiraz. Najam Shiraz switched from pop songs to Urdu Nasheeds after his perspective about life changed and he quit singing. His first ever Nasheed was ‘Na Tera Khuda Koi Aur Hai’. He has dedicated his life since to uniting people for peace and brotherhood.
The promo of the transmission has been launched which shows Najam Shiraz asking people about ‘why we have not been able to rid ourselves from the society’s vices such as, corruption, lying, greed, deceit, injustice, selfishness, inflation, poverty and lawlessness?’, “and whether the viewers would like to know the answer to this question?’ The promo ends with this question showing the words flashing on the screens ‘coming soon’.
What the transmission will contain is still a mystery. Seeing that Neo News channel has been launched with the motto of bringing ‘Pakistan’s voice’ to the people, the promo has stood out from the rest of the transmissions that are being advertized by the various TV channels. Selecting Najam Shiraz for this transmission was a wise move, as he has already established an image of a peace activist.
