Karachi: Baroness Sayeeda Warsi has urged the Pakistani Muslims and people of all faiths to celebrate Christmas, stating that there is no contradiction between celebrating a Christian religious event and being a devout Muslim. She calls on the Muslims to celebrate Christmas with the major city in order to get integrated into the society.
Speaking to leading Pakistani newspaper on the eve of delivering a major speech to the Young Foundation hosted by Operation Black Vote, Sayeeda spoke about the need to unlock the potential of Britain’s ethnic minority communities.
Warsi said that the British government wants to eradicate discrimination from the society, which includes the curse of anti-Muslim hatred.
