KARACHI: Sindh Home Minister Manzoor Wasan has esteemed the chief of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Altaf Hussain for his efforts to establish peace in the province, especially Karachi.
The Sindh Home Minister on Saturday telephoned the MQM chief and thanked him on behalf of the Sindh government. Wasan told Hussain that he was really fearful by his feelings and emotions to carry peace in the province and for creating accord and unity among various segments of the society. Wasan said Altaf is a gigantic leader and his struggle for the people could not be ignored. MQM chief admired the positive approach of the Home Minister and said that he was ready to lay down his life for the rights of Sindh and its peace.
He said it was his desire that ‘a durable peace comes in Karachi soon and the wheel of progress continues to move forward’. He prayed for the land of Sindh to become a cradle of peace and love. He assured full cooperation to Wasan for bringing the peace to Karachi. Our correspondent
