Abu Dhabi: A VIP phone number was bought for 21 Lac dollars in an auction held for charitable purpose in United Arab Emirates. According to a news report the auction was held by silver company for the welfare of the poor people. This auction was held in Abu Dhabi and the aim was to collect the money for the poor and privileged people. A large number of people took part in this cause.
A number 777-7777 and the associated company’s number package was sold in 78 Lac, 77 thousand and 777 hundred Dirham, which is 21 Lac American dollars and in Pakistani currency it worth 20 crore 76 Lac and 90 thousand.
The identity of the purchaser in not known. The person who bought this number can talk free for 12 hours daily and also has the facility of 100 Giga bite data. Although any user can buy number of his choice in 230 Dirham but this unknown person bought this number for charity purpose.
According to the law of United Arab Emirates every number is Government’s possession and the government has the right to change or take back the number. On this basis the relevant Company had warned the bidders before the auction that they have every right to change or close any VIP number.
