Minimum Transport Fare Reduced To Rs. 10 In Karachi

Karachi: Following the heavy lowering in rates of CNG all across the country, the government of Sindh, following the footsteps of KPK and Punjab government, has also reduced the fares of transport in the metropolitan city.

According to the details, the Sindh government announced a decrease in the minimum fare of public transport after negotiations with transport alliance on Thursday.

The Sindh Transport Minister Akhtar Jadoon announced that the minimum fare of minibuses has been reduced to Rs10 from Rs14 and the tickets of coaches have been lowered to Rs18 from Rs.20

Transport minister also announced 20 percent reduction in the fare of inter-city transport.
