One of the leading multinational chains of fast food restaurants, McDonald’s has now came to Peshawar, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The first branch of McDonald’s has opened in Peshawar on Monday, 28 December 2015. Now people of Peshawar can enjoy delicious and quality meal on McDonald’s, situated at Sher Khan Road. On the inaugural ceremony of first branch of McDonald’s in Peshawar, CEO Amin Muhammad Lakhani was present at that time. Previously, McDonald’s branch was opened at Kala Shah Kaku, Lahore and people have showed their happiness on this and appreciated the initiative of McDonald’s.
While talking to the media during ceremony, Amin Muhammad Lakhani said that different levels of food will be served to the customers from all the segments of society in the restaurant. He told that the building of this new restaurant is state-of-the-art structure, while staff of this restaurant is fully trained. Lakhani also said that no discrimination will be done on any basis to the staff of this new restaurant, including men and women. He also ensured that this new branch of McDonald’s will not only provide quality meal to the citizens but also increase the chances of employment for the youth.
According to McDonald’s CEO Amin Muhammad Lakhani, they also have plans regarding opening of new branches of restaurant in KPK.
