Maulana Bashir Farooqi was born in 1963 in the month of Ramazan. He belongs to a noble and religious family from the Bantawa Community. His family migrated from India in the early days of partition and settled in Sikarpur from where they came to Karachi in 1977.
Maulana Bashir was in touch with religion since his childhood. After completing his education, he began to serve the masses through his spiritual ability, knowledge and praying deftness. Maulana Bashir Farooqi is a businessman, running a shop in Boulton market for the past 15 years.
