People who are married and have a wife to take care for them during illness live longer than single people, reveals a new study.
People with 3 major health issues will die earlier if they single, these diseases are:
- High Blood Pressure
- High Cholesterol
- Type II Diabetes
The research was done by a team of researchers from Aston Medical School in Birmingham which analyzed data of more than one million people, the average age of these patients was 60 years old.
The reasons for married people living longer were better care by partner, taking medicine on time and having someone nearby in situation of emergency.
Another reason was psychological support which is given by a husband or a wife. Single people get depressed during disease because they feel they are alone and have no one to take care of them.
