Recently about 4 to 5 days ago, the Karachi Electric Supply Corporation (KESC) authority visited the Governor House Sindh Karachi where an agreement was signed concerning the load shedding in Karachi during the holy month of Ramadan!
As per the agreement, KESC decided to facilitate people during the Ramadan rendering the load shedding just for 3 to 4 hours so that people might avail the opportunity and face no difficulties. To abide by this agreement, the KESC bagged 3 billion’s subsidy as well as receiving gas and furnace oil in abundance by the government but it showed its real, devil face when it forgot the agreement.
On the very first day of the Ramadan, the KESC’s claim to provide electricity constantly to the public turned out to be wrong as it always happens! After every one and a half hour, KESC did load shedding for 2 hours that created an offensive situation for the people. This is actually a tradition for KESC that it fully avails funds from the government and others and gobbles the funds forgetting the people’s need!
I want to humbly request the government and concerned authorities to please take stern actions against KESC authority and ensure electricity without any disturbance! Also take KESC into your custody if KESC authority cannot run this properly!
