Karachi: Pakistan’s sprinter Liaquat Ali is all fired up to represent Pakistan in the London Olympics 2012 on August 4 when he will step on the ground to compete in the Men’s 100m athletics event.
Liaquat, 28, who play for Pakistan Army at the National level is the only male sprinter who is going to represent Pakistan in the Olympics.
The 23 men Pakistan squad for the Olympics 2012 is not quite demanding but the Nation is requested to pray for the athletes. Pakistan’s Anum Bandey is already out of the event. Pakistan Hockey team drew the match to Spain with 1-1.
Meanwhile, National swimmer Israr Hussain and shooter Khurram Inam are going to compete in their respective competitions.
