Karachi: Young National lad Junaid Khan has bowled exceptionally well in the first innings of the third and last test match of a three match Test series, bowling out Sri Lanka at 337 in reply of Pakistan’s first innings score of 226.
On a much seaming wicket, unlike most Sri Lankan pitches, Junaid Khan bowled with absolute heart and soul, adding another five-wicket haul to his shining test career, third in total.
Khan, 22 years old, undone key Lankan players to help Pakistan pave its way for a possible test win and level the series 1-1. Junaid bowled out Chandimal, Sangakkara, Mathews, Kulasekara and last to go Perera to end Sri Lanka’s innings with a heavy lead of 111 runs.
