KWSB Launches Mobile App For Online Booking of Water Tanker

Karachi Water & Sewerage Board (KWSB) has launched a mobile phone app for online booking of water tankers to facilitate customers.

Karachi is home to millions of people living in the metropolitan city without any water supply through pipelines. To facilitate such citizens KWSB earlier established a help desk for booking of water tankers through phone calls and has now launched a smartphone app for the online booking system.

How To Download the App?

If you are an android user then you can download the app through the Google Play Store. Open Google Play Market and write ‘KWSB’ and the first app in the search results will be the official app of KWSB. The application has been designed by Millennium Systems and Consultants (Pvt) Ltd.

Through this mobile app the consumer gets connected with the hydrant staff increasing the efficiency of the whole process.

How To Book Water Tanker?

The app is simple and user friendly through which booking a water tanker is very easy. Just follow this procedure to book your water tanker:

1) Provide details such as your name, phone number, Address.
2) Select your area through Google Maps
3) An estimated water tanker cost and transportation cost is shown on your mobile screen
4) Select Confirm to proceed your booking request

The service will be available in different areas for different durations:

District East: 9 AM – 6 PM
District Central: 9 AM – 12 PM
District West: 9 AM – 5 PM
District Korangi: 9 AM – 5 PM
District Malir: 9 AM – 5 PM
District South: 9 AM – 5 PM
