Kuwait has renamed the street no. 21 in Fahaheel area to the National Poet of Pakistan Dr. Muhammad Allama Iqbal. Recently a plaque has been added in the street on which it is written that he was the one who dreamt about Pakistan and was a famous poet of having command in many languages.
Allama Iqbal is mostly renowned because of his poetry which he wrote in 3 different languages Urdu, Arabic and Persian. He also wrote some books in English from which the most famous is ‘The Reconstruction of Religious Thought in Islam’.
He is also believed to be the first thinker from subcontinent who asked for a separate country for the Muslims of subcontinent, it is said that he was the one who saw the dream of a Muslim country.
