Karachi: Finally, Karachi University breaks its fast and announces that the admissions for Visual Studies department for the year 2013 are open for male and female candidates till 10th October, 2012. The admissions are open for different Bachelor fields including Bachelor of Design (4 years, 8 semesters), Bachelors of Fine Arts (4 years, 8 semesters) and Bachelors of Architecture (5 years, 10 semesters).
The interested candidates could get the admission form and prospectus for Rs. 500 from United Bank Limited, Karachi University branch located at Silver Jubilee gate. The forms can be purchased from October 1 to 10, 2012. The last date of the submission of the forms is October 10, 2012.
The final results would be announced after the admission test and final interview while the classes would kick start from January 1, 2013, department officials informed.
Eligibility Criteria:
- He/she must have completed HSC Intermediate with at least 45 percent marks during the last five years
- Three or four year long SBTE Diploma with at least 60 percent marks during the last five years.
- Three percent of seats are allocated for those who have passed the Intermediate five years before.
