Islamabad: The Supreme Court of Pakistan ruling out the false reports regarding the alleged killings of five Kohistan girls has declared all as alive and absolutely safe.
A three-judge apex court bench presided by Chief Justice Iftikhar Mohammad Chaudhry was hearing a suo motu, honour-related murder case which declared the reports concerning the execution of Kohistan girls following a decree by local Jirga, ‘untrue’.
Supreme Court found no sufficient proof about the murder of Kohistan girls as it earlier sent two delegations to probe the suspect incident.
Meanwhile, KPK Information Minister Mian Iftikhar Hussain has also maintained the security and safety of all the five girls, alleged of being killed few days ago.
“Sufficient evidence, gathered by a fact finding mission of the provincial government, is on hand on the basis of which it has been confirmed that all the five girls are alive and safe,” he told
