It has been 66 million years since Dinosaurs had vanished from the surface of the earth, there are many theories to explain what killed the giant animals or why and how such huge animal specie came to an end.
Many believed that it was because of some asteroid striking the earth which blocked the sunlight and caused the end of Dinosaurs. But the researchers from Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research (PIK) in Germany revealed that it was not only because of the dust but it was a whole disastrous process.
The dust contained droplets of Sulphuric droplets which blocked the sunlight for at least 3 years, in these 3 years the temperature become very cold on average it was about -26 degrees Celsius. These giant dinosaurs were unable to adjust with this freezing cold, which also affected the source of water.
The researcher believes that it took 30 years to normalize the environment on earth, after which life started to flourish again.
