Circumcision or Khatna is one of the most important rituals, and which is performed by the Muslims over the globe. But, recently a bundle of news has been circulating regarding the Muslim Employees, mostly come from backward countries, in Gulf countries especially in UAE travel to their countries for cheaper circumcision of their sons.
Of course, this is true that circumcision is very expensive in UAE where neonatal circumcision in private hospitals, ranges between Dh1, 000 and Dh4, 000 in Abu Dhabi, while it is also true that the same neonatal circumcision can be performed at cost about Dh 400 (Rs. 12000) in some private clinics in Sharjah, Dubai, Alain and some other states.
According to the local news agencies that much Pakistani is working in UAE, they travel to come in Pakistan for the Khatna (Circumcision) because which cost a very little amount in Pakistan liken UAE. The same surgery, here in Pakistan, can be operated just for a few hundred Rupees (PKRs) while which cost a huge amount of Dirham (DH) in UAE; this cost of huge amount is the reason that most of the expatriates travel their country for the ritual performance.
On the issue, an Indian Muslim commented that he had circumcised his son for Dh. 500(Minimum PKR. 14,000) in Sharjah at a private clinic, where on another hand that the urologists warned for fatal risk and advice for precautions to parents who operate their children in private clinics.
