Rawalpindi: The Islamabad High Court has ruled out the petition filed against the expected extension in service of Chief of Army Staff General Ashfaq Parvez Kayani. It was reported yesterday that the filed petition in the IHC objected the age of the current COAS that has crossed 60 years as on April 20, 2012 he was of 60 years.
The applicant Colonel (Rtd.) Inaam ur Rehman held the view that no Army officer could held the the military post after he got pass the age of 60.
While hearing the case today Chief Justice IHC Iqbal Hameed ur Rehman gave his remarks saying the service matters of Pakistan Army could not be heard in the apex courts.
