Karachi Turns Back To Familiarity After 15 Tolls

After 18 hours of violence which arrogate 15 lives, life returned to routine on Thursday evening following Muttahida Qaumi Movement chief Altaf Hussain’s appeal to his followers to ‘end their diplomatic protest’ and a video regret by Senior Sindh Minister Dr Zulfiqar Mirza for his remarks in which he heaped ridicule on Urdu-speaking community and Mr. Hussain.

In the protest MQM activists brought out processions, burnt tires and erected barricades on roads and burnt effigies of Dr Mirza. In just one day 15 people killed, 40 plus injured while almost 45 vehicles burned by unknown terrorist. Not only factory owners and shopkeepers but people who work on daily wages also suffered badly.
