The Government of Sindh has announced date sheet for Matric and Intermediate Exams 2016. Date sheets have been announced for all the province of Sindh, including Karachi. Annual Matriculation exams in Sindh will be started from 28th March 2016, while Intermediate exams will be started from 28th of April 2016. According to the media reports, this decision have been taken in a meeting of steering committee of provincial department of education was held in Karachi.
The meeting was chaired by Provincial Minister of Education Nisar Khoro, while Secretary Education Aliya Shahid, Director General Colleges Sindh Professor Nasir Ansar and all the heads & officers of different education boards were also present in this meeting. It has been also decided to start summer vacations in the province from 1st June till 31st July 2016, while winter vacations will be started from 22nd December till 1st January 2017.
Steering committee has also decided to close exemption of examination till class 3 in Sindh. According to the decisions made during this meeting, admissions in Inter First Year will be started from 1st August, on the basis of CAP. It has been also decided to include 9 November Iqbal’s Day in annual holidays.
