Dr. Saeeduddin Chairman of Inter Board Committee of Chairmen (IBCC) Sindh has recommended that the admission process of colleges should be changed because the current admission system is wasting time of students. He suggests that 1st year admission should be given on results of 9th class.
He wrote a letter to Sindh Education Minister Mehtab Hussain Dahar explaining that Matric board announces the result in the end of July or during the month of August. Then the admissions in colleges are continued till September which reduces the time of classes.
Dr. Saeeduddin recommended that admissions in colleges should be done immediately after exams and should be based on the results of 9th class. If admissions are completed in March and classes are started in April then the course will be completed easily with teachers having more time to complete the course.
He said that Private colleges are already doing this where classes are started from April because of which they easily cover the syllabus in detail.
