Dina Wadia was Jinnah’s only daughter but yet their relationship were not close enough, the rift was so deep that Muhammad Ali Jinnah referred to her daughter as Mrs. Wadia. But what was the reason behind this rift?
It is said that Jinnah raised Dina alone after separation from Rattanbai, he loved her deeply and did whatever he can for her daughter. But everything started to fall apart when Dina decided to marry a parsi man called Neville Wadia.
Despite the opposition of Jinnah she married the parsi men which changed her relationship with her father and founder of Pakistan. This was the end of their lovely relation and after it there were only few exchange of letters in which Jinnah referred to her as Mrs. Wadia.
She visited Pakistani in 1948 only after the death of Jinnah her second visit was in 2004. She died on 2nd November 2017 in New York.
