Miramshah: The Pakistan military jet fighters have targeted hideouts of the terrorists, being associated with banned group, killing 11 terrorists including foreigners whereas 3 hideouts of the terrorists have also been destroyed in the target. The security forces took the recent strike at 3 O’clock early in the morning.
The operation Zarb-i-Azb against the foreign and local terrorists of the banned Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan is going successfully in North Waziristan. According to sources, the air strikes hit the hideouts of the militants in the area of district Shawal. In the recent strike, 11 foreign and local terrorists were killed whereas their 3 hideouts were destroyed. The fourth week of the operation Zarb-i-Azb has started in North Waziristan.
According to Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), Pak forces targeted various hideouts of the terrorists yesterday in the area of Degan in which the air offensive killed 13 terrorists including foreigners whereas 7 of the hideouts were destroyed.
On the other hand, the toll of Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) who migrated from North Waziristan in view of the operation Zarb-i-Azb, have gone up to 8 lakhs, 52 thousands and 495. According to Fata Disaster Management Authority (FDMA), the registration of 8 lakhs, 52 thousands and 495 IDPs have been registered so far. In registered IDPs, 2 lakhs, 27 thousands and 212 are males, 2 lakhs, 52 thousands and 721 are females whereas 3 lakhs, 72 thousands and 562 are children. According to sources, Fata Disaster Management Authority stated that total 71 thousands and 654 families had been registered on the whole.
