A four-day event with international exhibitors that begin will begin from 15th November, Tuesday till 18th November, Friday.
At the four-day international military hardware and services exhibition, Pakistan will highlight its modernization in defence production.
The Ministry of Defence Production and the Defence Export Promotion Organization are working together to organize the 11th International Defence Exhibition and Seminar (IDEAS). Since the year 2000, the Karachi Expo Centre has hosted each addition of the IDEAS. Every edition’s slogan is “Arms for Peace.”
In order to welcome foreign delegates, Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah, who serves as the steering committee chair for IDEAS, ordered elaborate traffic arrangements and the beautifying of the city. 64 nations’ top defence delegations will attend the exhibition.
Alongside IDEAS, a symposium on the value of AI in military matters will be presented.
On November 17, an air show will be held at Sea View on the coast of Karachi.
A special postage stamp honouring the occasion has been released by Pakistan Post.
