Indian Shelling in Azad Jammu & Kashmir killed an 18 year boy and injured 3 other people. The death and injuries were caused yesterday night in an unprovoked act by Indian Border Guards.
18 year old Rizwan was killed at the spot when an Indian pierced through their roof, his 14 year old brother Kamran and 80 year old grandmother Wilayat Begum were also injured. They were residents of Sabzkot village in Charhoi sector.
Another aged man Raja Aziz who is 75 years old was also injured in Tayin village of Khuiratta sector. Both villages are part of Kotli District.
Chaudhry Zulqarnain Sarfraz, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) informed media that there was intense shelling from Indian armed forces during whole night which resulted in these casualties.
Such events on Line of Control (LOC) have become a norm where innocent residents are targeted by Indian forces. Just few days ago on 6th May four family members were killed after Indian shell landed on their house.
