Hyderabad: India crushed an inexperienced Australian team by 135 runs and an innings in second test at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium on Tuesday. By wining second test India leads the four-test match series with 2-0. Spinners R Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja both turned the ball very efficiently and took eight wickets and restricted aussies on just 131 runs in 67 overs in their second innings.
According to media reports, Visitors need 192 runs to safe inning defeat but Indian spinners bowled brilliantly and took eight wickets by giving only 57 runs in last 35 overs. In batting order Cheteshwar Pujara scored double hundred and secured the man of the match. Third test will be played at Mohali on 14th March.
Mahendra Singh Dhoni became the most successful Indian captain and now his eyes is going to clean sweep the aussies in coming two test matches.
