Lahore: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan has said that he ‘will disarm all militants group operating in the country’ and ‘declare jihad to save Pakistan’ if made Prime Minister of Pakistan, an Indian newspaper reported Wednesday.
While giving an interview to the Indian daily, Khan discussed the terrorism issue in Pakistan and said that terror leaders can be “transformed.” ‘I am sure they can be put into nation building, human beings can change. I will make them realise that militancy is not a solution.”
Imran Khan, who is in India to attend the World Economic Forum in Gurgaon, said that he will take immediate action against those who were behind Mumbai attacks and will bring the perpetrators before law if gets the Prime Minister office.
He assured that as the prime minister, he would make sure that Pakistani soil does not come under use of terrorism or violent activities.
He added that “India must understand the legal process takes time, but I will bring the Mumbai culprits to justice. We have to follow the rule of law.”
