Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan had slammed US role in Pakistan in 2010 when US delegation headed by Stephen Lynch had held a meeting with Imran Khan on 29th January 2010.
Pakistan most vocal politician against corruption called the US to modify its role in Pakistan.
Imran Khan accused the former deputy foreign secretary John Negroponte and former assistant foreign secretary Richard Boucher of approving the NRO in order to facilitate Benazir Bhutto’s return to Pakistan.
Imran said that because of NRO the biggest criminal is present in Parliament. He added that US should have supported democratic process instead of supporting former President Pervez Musharraf and Asif Ali Zardari.
