The cricketer cum politician, Pakistan Tehreek –e-Insaf (PTI) Chief Imran Khan brings a golden opportunity to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) people to display their potentials as a cricket player. For his governing province, Imran Khan has initiated the cricket talent hunt program for boys under 17.
Couple of months back, Imran Khan assured of restoring peace in KPK through engaging the citizens in sport activities. It is among many of the plans, outlined by the PTI Chief to provide relief and something good to the people.
In the provincial capital city, Peshawar, the trails are open at Arbab Niaz Cricket Stadium. From 25th January 2014, the hunt session shall begin from 9:00 am.
The trial sessions would take place at the following stadiums:
- Mardan
- Abbotabad
- Swat
- Kohat
- D.I. Khan
Trial sessions at the above stadiums shall begin from 27th January 2014 at 10:00 am daily. The hunt program has following features:
- One week coaching camp for selected players
- Divisional tournament on league basis
- Eligible players to come in proper white cricket kit
