KARACHI: Implementation on the Protection of Pakistan Act (PPA) has been started as the Karachi police have started working on Protection of Pakistan Act. In accordance with the act, the registration of those who buy houses and get houses on rent has been declared essential in the first step of the act.
The police have first of all gathered the information or data about estate agents in which registered and non-registered both are included. The estate agents have been bound to submit the information or data concerning house buyers or sellers and those who get or give houses on rent into the concerned police stations.
The act says that such information or data will essentially be submitted to the police stations after every fifteen years whereas the orders for taking action against those estate agents who will violate the act have been issued.
According to the act, those people who will be included in selling or buying the houses or giving and taking the houses on rent, the law enforcement agencies will not only authenticate their identity cards but also they will go to the concerned places in order to further authenticate about the people.
In accordance with the act, a cell has been constituted on every district level which will collect and set the records of all the police stations and will inform to the concerned SSP within every 15 days.
