The tenth International Cricket Women World Cup 2013 is to start from Thursday 31st January (Today). India is hosting the World Cup and will play the opening match of the tournament against West Indies women at Mumbai. Top eight team of the world are playing the event. The teams are distributed in two groups. Group A England, India, West Indies and Sri Lanka whereas in Group B Australia, New Zealand, Pakistan and South Africa are placed.
From the group stages only a team will be eliminated and the remaining six teams will meet in the super sixes. The two teams at the top in the super six stage will play the ICC women World Cup 2013 Final, whereas the third match position will be played between the 3rd and 4th place team, for the fifth spot the remaining two teams will battle.
The tournament will end on the 17th February when the winner of the tournament will lift the tenth ICC Women World Cup.
