Karachi: The people who are seen using computers for long working hour, round the clock affect their eyes with strain or injury and their vision may become weaken over the time. The common symptoms that indicate the damage of the eyes are eye pain and the ability to adapt to different ligh also gets reduced.
In order to protect your eyes from getting such symptoms and give some care to your eyes while using computer for long hours, you must follow these tips,
- Move your Eyes: Move your eyes around clockwise, from left to right, top to bottom and repeat the exercise three times each to relax your eyes, when you are fully sure that you cannot leave your seat for some relaxation.
- Give A Break To Your Eyes: It is much better to leave your seat and look at a certain distant for about 10 seconds until your vision becomes at infinite focus.
- Blink your eyes to make tears secrete, keep the eyes wet and breath regularly because too much focus on computer screens might lessen your breath or blood flow.
- Adjust your screen distance and Put your computer on a low table, or use a portable computer so your eyes look down when you work.
- Use appropriate light and not use computer screens in darkness as it might hurt your eyes and you may use another small table lamp when using your computer in office
