Honda Pakistan once again increases the prices of their cars including City, Civic, PR-V & others in Pakistan due to currency devaluation.
This increase was revealed after State Bank of Pakistan devaluated Pakistani Rupee by 4.4%, it is the second time that Pakistani currency was devalued in past 4 months. Prices are increased for all vehicles and the new prices of Honda vehicles are as follows:

Other car manufacturers such as Toyota Indus Motor Company and Pak Suzuki have also increased their rates quoting devaluation as the main cause of the increase.
Another reason for the price increase is that manufactures depend on many imported parts, these parts became expensive after devaluation. Raw materials such as steel is also imported, which will also be affected by the devaluation.
Experts believe that it will not affect the manufacturers as there is a high demand in automobile industry and the increase will be transferred to customers.
