Bollywood movie “Holiday: A soldier Is Never OFF duty” is set for release in cinemas across Pakistan on 6th June 2014. The movie is a remake of the 2012 Tamil Film Thuppakki that was produced by A/R Murugadoss. This movie is also directed by A.R Murugadoss and has been produced by Vipal Shah. The lead roles have been played by Akshay Kumar and Sonakshi SInha along with Govinda playing the supporting role.
Akshay Kumar is known for his action and will appear in this movie as the Captain in DIA, which is a wing of the Indian army. Sonakshi Sinha will appear as Saiba the boxer. Govinda will appear as Virat Bakshi’s senior commanding Officer, while Sumeet Ranghavan will appear as Virat’s friend who will also be an inspector of Mumbai. The leader of the sleeper cell will be portrayed by Freddy Daruwala. Among other actors are also Gireesh Sahedev and Zakir Hussain.
The movie’s screenplay has been written by A.R Murugadoss himself. The production of the movie has been handled by Aruna Bhatia, Twinkle Khanna and Vipul Amrutlal Shah. Prior to this movie, seldom did we see any attempts to film the Indian army. Let’s see how the movie is received by the audience.
