Habib University has caught the eye of many people, students and teachers alike, by an ambitious arrival onto the academic scene. With a brand new state of the art campus being built in Karachi and a faculty which is promised to be full of PhD level professors, Habib University is looking to become one of the top universities in Karachi. Habib university will be inducting its first batch of students this year and admissions have been started.
The admission requirements of Habib University are similar to many other universities. Students must have completed FA, FSc, ICS, ICOM, A’levels or High School Diploma with the mandatory subjects passed according to the department they have applied to.
CIE students are required to have completed 8 O’levels and 3 A’levels subjects with an average B grade or above. Atleast 65% marks are required from FSc, ICS, ICOM and FA students while students of AKU board require 60% marks in SSC and HSC. Students who do not meet the requirements can still apply and they will be judged individually by the university to determine if they can be allowed admission in the university.
Habib University admissions are online based with an account to be created on the Habib University e-application system. After the completion of the admission form a fee will be required and the proper documents will need to be uploaded.
