Peshawar: Some unidentified men lobbed a hand grenade attack on the residence of Awami National Party Member National Assembly on Tuesday, party sources informed.
However, the Nationalist party’s leader MNA Pir Dilawar Shah remained safe as he was not present at the house when the grand attack was launched. The security guards retaliated and hurled fires on the attackers, forcing them to retreat.
It is to mention here that this is the second attack on ANP leaders. Earlier this month, ANP Kohat President Saeed Shah was shown aggression along with his wife MNA Khursheed Begum, Saeed Shah got serious wounds and he is still in critical condition.
