BAHAWALPUR: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President Mian Nawaz Sharif has said that the federal government is responsible for energy crisis in the country, adding that it is unpardoned crime and government has to face its consequences.
Talking to the media in Bahawalpur after offering condolences with the grieved family of Mumtaz Ahmed Juja on Tuesday, Nawaz said that the machinery of hospitals is being affected by the load-shedding which is causing the increase of dengue.
He said that bills of electricity are increasing whereas electricity has vanished, adding that PML-N has brought this issue in National Assembly. We are withy the affected masses of country, he added.
Nawaz said that government was intentionally trying to destroy institutions, adding that there is no corruption in Punjab and Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif with his government is in field against dengue. Development works in the province are before the nation, he said.
He said that energy crisis has demolished the industrial sector totally and economic progress is being badly affected by the crisis, adding that government is committing criminal negligence since last four years of its tenure, which is unpardonable crime. “Government should have to bear the consequences of this criminal negligence,” he added.
He said that government is completely sleeping because a power plant is present at Karachi Port but government is doing nothing to make it functional.
Answering to a question PML-N Chief said that a committee of PML-N headed by Sartaj Aziz is working on Party manifesto whereas Shahbaz Sharif is implanting the 2007 manifesto of the party.
He said that there is a transparent government in Punjab, adding that there is no corruption and scandals in Punjab. If any case comes on scene Shahbaz takes notice of that immediately, he added.

Nawaz said that the overall situation of the country is being worst and every one has to keep concern over that. Replying to a question he said that there was no weightage in the statements of the Mike Mullen, adding that it was an effort to improve his image in front of the US masses.
