San Francisco: Google has released its “remote desktop app” now users can control their office or personal computer via mobile by using it. Earlier users were allowed to show their screens to others through “Chrome browser”. But now this feature has been available on mobile also so users can access their PC desktop computer directly via your smartphone or tablet.
A separate application has been made for the assistance of the users, who will use it first time, through which uses will be able to learn about the use of Google’s latest feature. Android users, after downloading the Android app from Google Play, they will need to install the Chrome Remote Desktop extension in a desktop’s Chrome browser to connect the two systems. Then, grant access for the remote connection to work and set up a PIN code for the PC.
The PC name will then appear in the Chrome Remote Desktop page and need to be selected before plugging in the same PIN code within the app and that’s all. Microsoft also has its personal remote desktop app client, as does Amazon Workspaces, which allows employees access work computers from their personal devices.
Remember that there are many applications like this in the market but Google has claimed that it is easy to understand and is better in terms of performance as compare to the already exists products in the market which provide these types of facilities.[junkie-alert style=”white”]Google has yet to release a Remote Desktop app for iOS, but says that will be coming “later this year,” without giving a definitive date.
