Ghazal Singer Tahira Syed Says She Is Still Singing

Lahore (Cultural Report): Famous singer Tahira Syed says,” nowadays the type of musical shows are held are not of my mood that is why my appearance is reduced”. She said on channels in less time more work is demanded which as effected the quality of work, this is the reason why no research work seems to be done in the field of music either.

Media is promoting people doing razzle dazzle rather than the music. People who have spent lives for this art are lost in darkness. Tahira Syed says,” Haven’t left singing but whenever invited in a program I accept it but at present I have reserved myself.”

Tahira Syed was born in 1958 and she started singing at an age of 12. She have sung Urdu, Punjabi and Pahari folk songs. She has done graduation in LLB.
