Karachi: Cattle Market had been set up for the customers at Super highway, more than 54000 cows, bull and about 20000 goats have came in cattle market. Entry ticket and parking ticket remain same as last year the responsibility of security had given to Police whereas the responsibility of traffic has been given to Government Warden
Due to thieves and snatcher traders are very much afraid because the business activities were not properly started but robberies and stolen work had started. There is also a complain center in Cattle Market where traders and customers will report their problems.
Moreover, Entry fees of each Cow or Bull, Goat and Camel are 800, 500 and 1400 Rs respectively as well as entry fees of Motorcycle, Car and Commercial busses are 10, 30 and 100 Rs respectively. Habib Bank branch has been opened in the cattle market. ATM of Askari Bank is under construction.
Prices of cow, buffaloes, and goat are very much high now days but it is expected that in the coming days prices will come down. Still people are only coming and doing window shopping but from 15th October people will buy the scarfical animals.
