Karachi: One of the most historic batsmen in Indian Cricket history, Sourav Ganguly has bid farewell to all forms of cricket as he gives absolute retirement from all forms of the world’s popular sport. Ganguly will not be playing next year’s Indian Premier League as well.
Left handed batsman retired from International cricket four years back but continued to play in IPL and feautered in all the editions of star studded cricket league. He first captained Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and then Pune Warriors, most recently.
While talking to Indian media, Ganguly said that despite the agreement with IPL he will not play upcoming edition of IPL as his body does not allow him to play cricket further more.
