Chairman Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee Mufti Muneeb ur Rehman has revealed the amount of Fitra for Eid ul Fitr 2018. The minimum amount of Fitra has been fixed at Rs. 100.
According to the saying of Prophet Muhammad (Pbuh) all muslims who possess food in excess of his needs is obliged to pay Saqah-e-Fitr to the needy people according to the price of flour, barley, date or raisin. The amount for Fitra according to these things is as follows:
Rs. 100 based on flour
Rs. 200 based on barley
Rs. 1,000 based on dates
Rs. 1,600 based on raisin

Mufti Muneeb recommended that people should pay according to his financial stability. If you have enough savings that you can pay fitrah based on raisin then you should pay according to it.
He also explained that breadwinner of the family is responsible for his family members, he should pay on behave of his children, wife & other dependants.
