An FIR has been registered against Nestle after a child was killed allegedly due to the consumption of Lactogen 1, which is a formula milk for infants by Nestle.
Daily Pakistan reported that Usman Bhatt’s one month baby fell ill after consuming Nestle’s formula milk and later died. His father alleges that her daughter died to the poisonous product of Nestle.

The incident happened last year but criminal investigation was delayed until investigation and forensic reports indicated that the infant was killed due to the poisonous product.
After the orders of Deputy Superintendent Legal FIR was booked against the multinational food company under Section 154 code of Criminal Procedure in Lahore Cantt Station.
Punjab Forensic Science Agency (PFSA) report revealed that Lambda-Cyhalothrin (pesticide) and Phenytoin’ were discovered from the body of the infant.
It is not the first time that any multinational brand is facing legal action due to its product. At the start of the month Indian authorities in Rajasthan also claimed that Johnson & Johnson’s baby shampoo contained harmful ingredients.

Last month Johnson & Johnson’s was fined $29m by Californian Jury after it was found that Jonhson talcum powder caused cancer to a woman.
