LONDON: The Chief of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Altaf Hussain has said that the Federal and provincial governments are afraid of local government. While talking to MQM Coordination Committee on phone at Nine Zero, Altaf Hussain has said that politics, protests and fights has kept taking place on Kalabagh Dam unfortunately.
He said that no steps were taken in order to remove concerns of small provinces, adding that no modern techniques were used to store water. Altaf Hussain further said that there was no system of checking gas cylinders in vehicles whereas the cylinders installed in the passengers buses and vegans have become walking bombs.
The chief of MQM said that the government had become silent spectator on faulty cylinders. Altaf Hussain demanded of the government to establish educational institutes in villages and towns where the education must be free till matric class and to establish same educational system in the whole country. He added that laptop had the only importance of a toy for poor students.
